World Production of Natural Rubber for 2012 is estimated to be 12.5 M Tonnes. Consumption is expected to be 13.5M Tonnes. Which will leave a deficit of 1M Tonnes. The US, China & Japan dominate the global rubber consumption by accounting for more than half of the world market & will continue to do so. India’s Natural Rubber production is estimated to be 1.00M Tonnes making it the 3rd largest Natural Rubber Producer in the World. Consumption for 2012 is expected to be 1.25M Tonnes which is further estimated to increase to 1.75M Tonnes by 2015. This will result in a deficit of 750,000 MT per annum.

Rubber in India is produced in Kerala (South India) and Tripura (NE India). Kerala Accounts for 85% of India’s production. Demand for Rubber is ever increasing and with our experience in International Trade & Distribution we have been able to establish a major presence in the local Indian Rubber markets. Our experience in this market has prompted us to look for Rubber Estate acquisitions and establishing our own Plantations not only in the Local market but also internationally.
